Double This - Double That - Double, Double, This, That

Today I have the privilege of sharing with you ANOTHER new item from the updated menu, which I have come to know and love very well...'Lemon Bundt Cake', but not just any 'Lemon Bundt Cake' - 'DOUBLE Lemon Bundt Cake'.

(Trust me, there is a big difference)
When making this cake you feel like someone is consistently spraying a lemon-scented air freshener throughout the room and it is the perfect summertime mix!
The recipe is an adapted version of an adapted version of a Martha Stewart Recipe - Good 'ole Martha rarely fails me.
So without further a due...
If you are a lemon-lover...this recipe is certainly for you : )
Next comes my latest order from the 'For the Early Riser' Section of the menu.
As you can see, I went to town on the muffins - mini muffins, jumbo muffins, medium muffins, blueberry muffins, apple and cinnamon muffins, cream cheese icing topped muffins...
Let's just say, "LOTS of muffins," which can all also be found on the new and improved --- MENU!
Do not be alarmed by the lighting in the pictures > the muffins were, in fact, not incinerated by any regard.
I actually used a new Silicone muffin pan for most of the muffins and was shocked to discover how much I now love Silicone Muffin Pans!!! (It's the little things in life).
The recipes for the Apple & Cinnamon Muffins, as well as the Blueberry Muffins, are adapted from Williams Sonoma! Their muffin recipes are unbeatable, unless of course you add cream cheese icing to the top -- that wins, hands down, every time!

'Wanna score major points at your next early morning meeting at your office?
Bring in an order of muffins - it is sure to do the trick : )

Cookie Pop Love

I'm an easy person to please, really. It doesn't take much to excite me and I can be entertained by the most random of things for hours on end.
Therefore, after discovering the utter... 'amazing-ness' of another new item on the menu - Cookie Pops - I was all but turning flips and my mom was, more-so literally than not, having to drag me away from the kitchen to get sleep.
The 'Pops' were so fun to make, with so many options, varieties, etc. that I spent hours just experimenting.
I have the first of a series of many bake sales starting this Saturday, for which I decided the Cookie Pops would be perfect for.
I, thankfully, remembered to take pictures of a few that i made for the Bake Sale and included them at the end of this post.
These would be perfect arranged in a bouquet for Father's Day or the most adorable (short-term) center piece at a 4th of July Party, ETC. ETC. and as always, all proceeds are donated to support missions (not just your sweet tooth).
I pray that you have a wonderful weekend, filled with quality time with those whom you love!
- especially to all the Dad's out there on your special weekend : )
God Bless and Keep You All!
and not only are these 'Cookie Pops' adorable, easily customizable, and transportable --- they are delicious! I was having to watch my back as my sister and mom attempted to sneak their fair share of them : )

Oreo Balls & Mini Cheesecakes!

I had the privilege of filling an order today that I was so excited about, for a couple reasons. One being, I love the two items that were requested and also, I couldn't wait to share the pictures with 'the blog world!'
So here 'ya are : )
I am excited to introduce one of the items from the new menu --- Mini Cheesecakes, which can be custom made match any flavor of your choosing!
These 'Mini's' are Strawberry flavored ...
and topped with finely chopped pie crust!
Next on the Menu for the day were the ....'OREO BALLS!'
(I'm a big fan - can you tell?)
If you are new to the wonderful world of 'Oreo Balls' -- Basically, they are an Oreo Cookie mixture coated in White Chocolate and topped with Oreo Cookie bits....A-mazing!
These are truly fun to make and fun to experiment with, so don't hesitate to ask -- Nutter Butters taste equally amazing, Girl Scout Cookies -- you name it : )
I look forward to sharing pictures and updates with you from a busy weekend of baking ahead. I have two events that I am honored to be baking for, but I would certainly love to add yours to the list!
Don't forget > Father's Day is this Sunday and Dad's can sometimes have the sweetest tooth of all, so show him your love and help out a great cause by ordering from 'Taste of Heaven.'
Have a Blessed Day!

Change of Heart

At the start of my so far short, but sweet (no pun intended), journey with Taste of Heaven, I have had quite a few pivotal events take place. God's really been tugging at my heart, changing my priorities, and reality check after reality check has ensued. To be honest, pleasant or not, I wouldn't have had it any other way.
One thing, minuet as it may appear, that I have decided to do a little switcheroo with is the pricing, etc. with Taste of Heaven.  Whereas before I donated 50% of the proceeds of the baked goods I sold to foreign and local missions, I will now be donating 100% of the proceeds to missions. This may seem like a small change to some, but I know without a shadow of a doubt in my mind that it is what the Lord has called me to do with Taste of Heaven. He has given me the abilities, resources, etc. that I have been blessed beyond measure with and this is truly the least I could do.
With that being said, I would like to leave all you bloggers with a passage that God has really laid on my heart lately - 1 Corinthians 10:31 - which really captures the desire of my heart perfectly - to live to my life for the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

We Boogie

Hello All!
I received an e-mail at the start of this week from a local organization, We Boogie, requesting a donation of baked goods for a fundraiser/benefit that they were hosting this weekend. I gladly jumped at the chance to donate 'goodies' to a good cause!
There was a Pound Cake with Homemade Icing Recipe that I have been itching to try. I thought this would be perfect for a summer day, especially as I tossed in Fresh Strawberries, Blueberries, and Raspberries.
I hope this post finds everyone amidst a wonderful, relaxing weekend!
And don't forget - Father's Day is next weekend! Help satisfy your dad/hubby's sweet tooth with a Custom Order from 'Taste of Heaven' Baked Goods!
Large-Loaf Pound Cake with Homemade Icing
Everything's better in 'mini!'
I spot fresh berries -- Yum!

Order Up

The title of this post is the product of a recent connection that I am so excited about! I am now a Senior Rep for Bella Zu Photography Company (so if you're in need of any type of portraits - you now know where to go =] ) where I have gotten to meet two of the sweetest women ever to walk the streets of Concord, NC. One of the two happened to need baked goods for an event over Memorial Day Weekend.
I was luckily, quickly able to throw together a small assortment for the children that would be attending the event and a Pound Cake for the adults. Unfortunately, due to 'teen alzheimers,' as I call it, I only have pictures to show of the Assortment.
Either way, I thought I would share with everyone the 'Bella Zu Order' that was recently filled.
Thanks so much for stopping by, stay tuned, and satisfy your sweet tooth : )

The 'Almond Joy' Cupcake
This was my first, but certainly not my last attempt at making Cupcake Cone's...

...which deliciously consists of Ice Cream Cones topped with Homemade Icing and Filled with Homemade Vanilla Cake.

They were certainly fun to make.
Vuala!

 Game Face!

When baking, I always end up with a corner of 'bloopers' - I happened to document one : )

The final product was coming right along...
Up close and personal of one of the cupcakes.
Note: Topped with a handmade, edible rose (yum!)
